As the founder of the Viola Heritage House Museum, I am deeply honored to carry forward the legacy of Trailblazer Viola G. Randle — the first African American female mayor of Fulshear, Texas. Her courage, community spirit, and dedication to service laid the foundation for everything this museum represents.
The museum's vision began with a simple but powerful truth: our history matters. Our stories, struggles, and triumphs deserve to be preserved, taught, and celebrated. I wanted to create a space that doesn’t just display history—it moves with it teaches through it, and empowers because of it.
This mobile museum was born out of a passion to make Black history accessible to schools, families, and communities — especially those who have never had a museum come to them. From leadership programs and historical exhibits to sensory inclusion and financial literacy for youth, everything we do reflects our commitment to building a more informed, inspired, and equitable future.
Thank you for joining us on this journey. We are preserving the past and passing the torch to the next generation of trailblazers.
In Legacy and Leadership,
