The Viola Heritage House Museum stands as a beacon of history, culture, and educational empowerment. Established to honor the legacy of Mrs. Viola G. Randle, the first African-American female mayor of Fulshear, TX, the museum showcases the untold stories of African-American women who paved the way for future generations. From humble beginnings to groundbreaking achievements, our exhibits and programs are designed to inspire a deep connection to history and a passion for leadership.
As a mobile museum, we bring history to life through innovative exhibits like the "Cotton & Pearls" journey and our Legacy Builders Program, encouraging creativity and architectural exploration. We are committed to nurturing artistic talents with visionary drawing activities that inspire future trailblazers.

At the Viola Heritage House Museum, our mission is to preserve and celebrate the rich cultural history and legacy of African-American women, while fostering educational leadership and creativity. Through our dynamic exhibits, like the Legacy Builders Program, we encourage architectural exploration, artistic expression, and visionary drawing. We aim to inspire future leaders by connecting them with the historical narratives of resilience, culture, and innovation, ensuring that the stories of the past continue to shape the leaders of tomorrow.
GOAL
As we continue to grow, we are working toward establishing a permanent location in Fulshear, TX, making the Viola Heritage House Museum a sought-after tourist destination. This future site will not only serve as a hub for historical education but also as a vibrant space where visitors can engage with interactive exhibits, learn about the architectural and cultural legacy of the region, and participate in creative workshops. Through our efforts, we aim to create a destination that honors the past while inspiring the future, welcoming visitors from all over the world to explore the rich history and stories that shaped Fulshear and beyond
