The Viola Heritage House Museum stands as a beacon of history, culture, and educational empowerment. Established to honor the legacy of Mrs. Viola G. Randle, the first African-American female mayor of Fulshear, TX, the museum showcases the untold stories of African-American women who paved the way for future generations. From humble beginnings to groundbreaking achievements, our exhibits and programs are designed to inspire a deep connection to history and a passion for leadership.
As a mobile museum, we bring history to life through innovative exhibits like the "Cotton & Pearls" journey and our Legacy Builders Program, encouraging creativity and architectural exploration. We are committed to nurturing artistic talents with visionary drawing activities that inspire future trailblazers.
Our educational programs focus on leadership development, cultural preservation, and community engagement, offering unique opportunities to explore heritage while empowering young minds. The Viola Heritage House Museum is more than a place of reflection—it's a platform for growth, creativity, and the celebration of history. Join us as we continue to build a legacy that honors the past and lights the way for future generations.
At the Viola Heritage House Museum, our mission is to preserve and celebrate the rich cultural history and legacy of African-American women, while fostering educational leadership and creativity.
